I have to admit this is a great set, I was worried a bit at first, I got these for work with Polymer clay and I wasn't too sure if they were right for it,

But they are great. The only issue I've run into is sometimes on white clay it seems to leave metal coloring marks on it now and then. But I think a good hot water scrubbing (something I should have done as soon as I got them.) will solve that.

You get all the tools pictured. in a nice roll up case for travel or storage, And they seem pretty heavy duty, I dropped mine on the floor and one got stepped on by a heavy work boot while we were moving, So I think they can stand up to quite alot of wear and tear depending if your doing clay, Or pottery or whatever you may buy them for. And although the case is nice for storage and travel, I'd buy and extra case or a cup to keep them in at all other times because where some of them are sharp, I see the plastic case getting damaged if they were pulled in and out alot.

All and all I'm happy, And i feel it was worth what I spent.

This is a set of stainless steel picks. They're not toys. With some of the reviews, I wondered what I'd get. But I chose a reputable seller and it all turned out for the best. As others have mentioned, the case is flexible plastic. I don't think it will last forever, but no matter. The picks are the important part, and they're exactly what the artist ordered! As the picture shows, you get a set of 12 double-tipped shaping tools. Many of the tips are pointed, but some are rounded, wide, or flat. A few are even shaped as spoons. The variety is quite nice! These are designed for developing forms and adding surface detail. The points are indeed pointy (Be careful!) and the edges are sharp enough to work with soft materials. They're not really sharp. Just as well, I think. They're not intended as scalpels or dental instruments.

Surface rust may be a problem with these as mine arrived with some minor surface staining. A little steel wool will fix that. Also, machining quality could be a little better on some of the picks. I can see some grinding marks and a few surface pits on several of the picks. Still, for less than $8, I can forgive all that. Basically, you get what you pay for, and these are cheap. But they're also quite nice in terms of tip variety and the use I will get from them. So, I can easily recommend them and look forward to using them in my projects! Thanks for reading. :)

UPDATE: I've been using these tools with Magic Sculpt epoxy clay, and they work quite well. The assortment of tips gives me a lot of work options. Very happy!
